Custom floral paintings are available on 8"x10", 11"x14" or 16"x20" size canvas. Each hand-painted artwork is completely unique.

What kinds of photos can be used?

If you own the copyright to the photo, then you can absolutely have that image turned into a painting! If the photo is from a professional photographer, I can provide you with a simple form to request copyright release. Optionally, I can make a painting based on several photos to create the exact image you want (for example "I want to add a sunflower like this, etc.")!

What if I don't have a photo?

No problem! Just tell me the kinds of flowers you want, or even just the colors. I will present a sketch to you before starting the actual painting to make sure we both like the design.

Can you add our names, wedding date, or a special symbol?

Yes! We can discuss the placement of text or a symbol and you may also choose to include a scroll banner if desired (see product photos.) Text needs to be no longer than about 10 words.

How big is the painting?

If you don't have access to a ruler, it can be hard to imagine the different sizes of paintings. One simple method is to compare to a sheet or several sheets of 8.5"x11" paper. For example an 8"x10" painting will be just slightly smaller than the paper, a 9"x12" will be just a tiny bit bigger than the paper, or a 16"x20" painting with a frame will be just about the size of four sheets of paper in a grid. Tape the sheet(s) of paper to your wall to get an idea of which size is best for your project.

Do you offer other sizes?

Generally 8"x10 is the smallest option and 24"x36" is the largest for custom paintings, but I'm open to your ideas if you have some special in mind. Additional costs may be added for unique requests, please email me for pricing.

How long before I receive my painting?

Typical time to delivery is about 4-5 weeks. However, that is assuming you are responsive to my requests for details and approve certain milestones. I will need the photos you want me to use as soon as possible. After that you can expect a rough draft sketch within 3-4 business days. We can discuss revisions and another sketch may be drafted if needed. Once you approve the sketch, I will begin painting. Then I will send a watermarked image for one last approval. At that time all final revisions must be requested to avoid incurring fees. Revisions at this last stage must be minor (i.e. nose is too long, eyes should be blue, etc.).
